A Visit To Toon Fan Cobie
Fri Feb 18 2022 12:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
Last night we visited Cobie Woods after his Mam wrote to us telling us about his tough life battling Leukaemia when he was just 6, having to deal with intensive chemo, multiple transfusions, hair loss and much more and never complaining. Cobie went into remission and life was finally getting back to normal, but then Cobie took ill again and was diagnosed with Chronic Ulcerative Colitis, which makes everyday life very difficult. After chatting with Mam she described Cobie as “the bravest boy in Bishop Auckland”. She also told us he was a big Newcastle fan. We had to make a dream come true and the team at Angel Trust worked hard to create an amazing day. We asked for a little help from a good supporter of Angel Trust, who kindly offered us 4 tickets in his private box at St James’ Park, for Cobie and his family. The club also gave us a signed ball to pass on to Cobie. We hope you all have an amazing day and we look forward to seeing your photos.
