Michelle said I am a Practice Manager, with over 33 years’ experience, in a well-known dental corporate within Bishop Auckland.

 

Having lived in Bishop Auckland all my life, and worked within County Durham and Darlington, I am passionate about helping the local people of our community. This is what Angel Trust is about!

 

I have supported The Angel Trust from the very beginning, watching the Charity grow from strength to strength, attending events and. Seeing the Angel Trust on the Big Screen at Hardwick Live was the pinnacle of the hard work of the Trust and its volunteers.

 

I have often volunteered at events to help raise funds, in the early days having to explain to people about the trust and where the funds go to support the people of the local community. Nowadays this is a different story as Angel Trust has become a household name within our area.

 

In 2019 I took part in an Arctic Survival Challenge, facing minus temperatures and sleeping in a snow hole to raise as much money as we could for Angel Trust. This was a life experience I won’t ever forget. These events are available for anyone to do, and I would urge people to get involved and push themselves out of their comfort zone – you won’t be disappointed.

 

I feel very proud and privileged to be part of Angel Trust, and I am very excited to join the board of Trustees and continue to support the Charity in making a difference to those in need within our community
